One thing I love about newer cars is the information rich displays. I have been travelling a lot and nothing has changed my driving habits as significantly as the information on the dashboard.

Buy local, but sell global
Tuesday, March 24, 2009
At the Ignite Boise event last week there was a great presentation called “FOOD, what is” by Amy Vecchione. She recapped the great local shops and eateries that sell "real" food in Boise (i.e. stuff that comes from the earth, not a machine or process).
New Media -- Scary....
Tuesday, November 25, 2008
I had a really strange experience this morning. I dropped my wife's parents off at the Boise airport and drove straight to work in my mother-in-law's car. I ended up listening to the local guys on 580 KIDO -- a talk radio station. They were discussing new media sites, like Facebook and MySpace. Both were disgusted that anyone could spend "so much" time participating in silly activities on the Internet (paraphrased quote: "some people post their current activities 3 or 4 times a day on Facebook").
Extenuating Your Brand
Friday, October 24, 2008
I am not sure the grammar is correct, but I love the concept that you can "extenuate your brand" (for a definition of extenuating). I am not a branding expert -- talk to the guys at Tricycle for help with developing your "1000 Year Brand." However, I can warn you about three online activities that can really hurt (extenuate, spread thin, etc) your brand. Your brand is not just your letterhead -- it is how you are perceived internally as well as externally.
